In light of the escalating war in Ukraine, Toronto-based youth from the Baltic and Ukrainian communities are organizing a series of film screenings at the St. Vladimir Institute on Friday, May 6th from 7-11:30pm. “A Night at the Movies: The Baltics Stand with Ukraine” will raise funds for the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal while celebrating Baltic and Ukrainian culture.

The film lineup will be announced shortly and includes three short films from Lithuanian, Latvian and Estonian directors. A feature-length film by a Ukrainian director will follow.

Event attendees will have the opportunity to donate further via cash or card. Handmade items donated by local Baltic and Ukrainian artists will also be available for purchase.
