LIBRARY COLLECTION
The Library houses more than 20,000 items including books, periodicals, LPs, videocassettes, tape recordings, audiocassettes, CDs and DVDs. The Library also subscribes to current Ukrainian-Canadian newspapers in both English and Ukrainian. The library also has partial runs of several journals published in Ukraine.
The Library houses many of the same books on Ukrainian topics as University of Toronto's Robarts Library. If a book is unavailable or checked out from Robarts Library, it may be available at the St. Volodymyr Institute Library.
16,000 items of the library's collection have been entered into LibraryWorld - an online catalogue. New acquisitions are entered into LibraryWorld immediately, while cataloguing of the older collection is ongoing.
The library continues to grow through purchases and the generous support and gifts-in-kind of friends of the Library.
