  • St. Vladimir Institute (map)

"Ukropy Dobasu" (Укропи Донбасу, 2015) is a documentary film directed by a Ukrainian journalist, director, and writer Ruslan Gorovyi.

Alexander and Victoria Kononovy are farmers. Despite the fact that Alexander lost his arm and leg in an accident, he did not despair. On the contrary, he and his wife built the farm from scratch. But then came the war. After a pseudo-referendum, their village found itself in the occupied territories. Kononovy, however, these people did not give up and began to help the army. They frequently traveled to the territory controlled by Ukraine, bought all the essential supplies, transported it to the military, and returned home empty-handed. One day, they "turned the wrong way" and fell into the hands of separatists.
