Let's Make Pysanky!

Join pysanka artists in Toronto this spring for a pysanka egg-stravaganza weekend.

May 4th, 5th and 6th, 2018 (one day registration option available for Saturday May 5th).

"Pysanky Toronto" is co-hosted by Ukrainian EggCessories and St. Vladimir Institute in partnership with the Ukrainian Museum of Canada (Ontario Branch).

This 3-day pysanka event is for beginners to those who want to perfect their wax lines and pick up some extra tips, to experts... everyone is welcome. St. Vladimir Institute will be the place to hang out all weekend long. You'll also have access to St. Vladimir's library, the Ukrainian Museum of Canada (Ontario Branch) and a full banquet hall full of Pysanka artists!

The weekend will include meals, goodie bags, door prizes, a secret pysanka exchange, complimentary pysanka supplies, a chance to sell your pysanky, a few extra suprises and the best pysanky comraderie on this side of the 49th parallel! Saturday night will be free to be a tourist in Toronto.

For those looking for hotel recommendations there are:
The Super 8 downtown Toronto hotel. It is close to Chinatown... could be noisy on the Saturday but close by. Some attendees are already booked here.
There is also the Intercontinental on Bloor Street, East of Spadina - more pricey, but safer and a nicer area, and a 20 minute walk to the event.
The Chelsea Hotel is a great option - not far from St. Vladimir Institude
There are a few AirBnb's in the area as well that you can search for.
